Today, it was the last class day for CS Research Methods. The facilitator said they would not meet with us anymore, instead, we should use this time to prepare our proposals that could be used for our research study in our 4th year.  Classes on the subject are more like lectures—well, not really lectures, but more on guidance and reflection, allowing you to develop insights on your own. It offers you an understanding of what a given term means (on research) and defines it, and it guides you through the mechanics of creating a research paper. You are provided defined guidelines on how to write a specific section of the paper, as well as what contents should be observed and the conditions if it answers the questions it should. Entry 0002 Blog written: Feb 19 2023 Blog published: March 03 2023 Just a Normal Class Day at CS Research Methods Today's class experience was both enjoyable and informative. We began with a large number of people in class missing. Most probably because this was the only class we have to attend today. The date was the 15th of February, and the facilitator was making jokes about how yesterday was Valentine's Day, and made fun of us for not having dates.  He also presented the "Bakit #jowable ang researcher?" poster from the Department of Science and Technology. Since our class is all about research, the poster made a lot of sense. The gist of it was researchers would make good partners as they are problem-solvers (they could solve your problems!), they are not afraid of defining terms (they could put a LABEL on that relationship), they pay attention to details (they don't forget about the little things :D), and they are good at time management (rest assured they w...
